Scotland - as you have never seen her before This 3 part series follows geographer Vanessa Collingridge on a celebratory journey around Scotland. Filmed in High Definition, both from the air and from the land, the three programmes will reveal the nation’s most vivid and dramatic landscapes and landmarks. Programme 1 – The Lowlands and Central Belt The capital, the Borders the Clyde and round to Stirling, Scotland’s historic linchpin. Programme 2 – The Western Highlands and Islands From Kilmartin in Argyll to Glen Coe via the Inner Hebrides to the Cuillin of Skye and finally back up the Great Glen from the Ben to Urquhart Castle. Programme 3 – The Cairngorms and the East coast The Cairngorms - and from source of the River Dee on their summit plateau to its mouth at Aberdeen and down the east coast to two great triumphs of Scottish engineering, the Bell Rock light and the Forth Rail Bridge. Vanessa Collingridge, the presenter, was not born in Scotland but, like many who settle here, she has become, if anything, even more enthusiastic than many Scots about her adopted home.
